Chair – Sonya Beyers
LLB (Hons), LLMEnt-G, IDP-C (INSEAD), FAICD, FGIA
Sonya Beyers is Director of Governance by Design, a leading consultancy and advisory firm guiding boards to evaluate the governance, processes and legal frameworks in their organisation, redefine the director-board relationship and foster leadership from the boardroom.
She also leverages her expertise as a qualified solicitor and experience across corporate and non-profit sectors to help directors gain focus, troubleshoot a range of issues and optimise organisational performance. Sonya brings a wealth of knowledge and welcomes the opportunity to contribute to All About Living’s mission to safeguard the rights of the vulnerable persons that All About Living serves.
Director – Jon Bishop
B. Comm
Jon is a Wealth Adviser who has been working in financial services for over 5 years and during his time at university volunteered with Blue Care. Jon has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Certified Financial Planner.
Jon’s job involves assessing clients’ financial situations, helping them develop long term objectives and advising on how to effectively achieve them as well as dealing with the relevant legal and compliance obligations.
Through his work and volunteering, Jon has seen a number of clients who have had to leave their home due to their health and have seen the struggles they face so has an understanding of the importance of aged care services.
Board Member – Amanda MacDougall
GAICD, Grad Dip BA
Amanda is a strategic, and experienced Executive and Company Director with a proven record of innovation and improved organisational value. With expertise in enterprise strategy, operational excellence, business transformation and risk management, she applies her broad experience working across corporate, government, and the Aged and Disability sectors, to improve outcomes for the valued customers of All About Living.
She brings lived experience, passion and commitment to her role on the Board and is singularly focused on ensuring the continued provision of the vital services provided by All About Living to the South East Queensland community.
Board Member – Kate Wylie
B Occ Thy (Occupational Therapy), MBA
Kate has a clinical background in Occupational Therapy and worked across acute, rehabilitation, outpatient and community settings, as well as for public, private and non-for profit healthcare providers. This ‘on-the-floor’ experience enables her to engage and understand the operational workforce – as well as the needs of the community we serve.
For the past 10 years, Kate has been leading service Improvement teams, co-founding a successful digital health startup and working as a consultant advisor in private, public and non-for profit organisations.
Kate has a Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy, Masters in Business Administration and is an Associate Fellow of the Australia College of Health Services Management.
Board Member – Mary-Ellen Redmayne
BHSc (Podiatry), AHPRA Registered Podiatrist, ApodA Committee Member
Mary-Ellen is a seasoned podiatrist with extensive expertise in the Community Aged Care and Disability sectors. As the Founder and Director of Redmayne Health and The Foot Stop Podiatry Services, she heads a dynamic mobile health enterprise that is making significant strides in Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales, Australia.
Under her leadership, The Foot Stop Podiatry has earned a reputation as “the podiatrists who truly care,” with Mary-Ellen cultivating a dedicated team committed to enhancing clinical outcomes and quality of life. Central to their mission is fostering community connection and promoting preventative allied healthcare, with a focus on regular foot care at the core of their approach.
Mary-Ellen is particularly passionate about empowering and inspiring fellow mothers within the workforce, aiming to cultivate leaders and role models for future generations of women.
