Entry-Level Support to Help You Stay Independent at Home
The Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) is an Australian Government-funded initiative that provides low-level support to help older people remain independent, active, and connected in their own homes and communities.

What Is CHSP?
CHSP is designed for older Australians who are mostly able to live independently but need occasional or short-term assistance with everyday tasks. The program is ideal if you’re:
65 years or older (or 50 years or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people), and
Living at home and needing a small amount of help to remain safe and independent
The focus of CHSP is on early intervention and promoting wellbeing — supporting you to live well at home and avoid more complex care in the future.

How to Access CHSP
The first step is to register with My Aged Care. You’ll then have an assessment by the Regional Assessment Service (RAS), which will determine the types of support you’re eligible for.

Once you’re approved, you can nominate All About Living as your preferred provider. From there, our team will work with you to build a plan that supports your goals and lifestyle.
Affordable and Flexible
CHSP services are subsidised by the Australian Government, and you may be asked to contribute a small fee toward the cost of your services. All fees are in line with government guidelines and agreed upon before services begin. We are committed to making care affordable and accessible for every client.
